- Departure from New York for Prague, the charming capital of the Czech republic.
March 6
- Arrival in Prague
Prague is just beautiful, a picture postcard in its own right. There is so much to see there, where do you start?
You will enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town. Here you find magnificent squares, Jewish Quarter, gorgeous architecture and more.

March 7
- Participation in a Mass service followed by a sightseeing tour in the Castle District of Prague. Visit the ancient sites of this lovely part of the city and wander over the picturesque Charles Bridge to the Old Town for some individual sightseeing. Dinner and overnight in Prague
March 8
- Morning at leisure until departure by train for Budapest. The train leaves from Prague at 12.58 pm and you arrive in Budapest at 7.48pm. While sitting back in your comfortable seat, the world of the Czech Republic, Slovenia and then Hungary will just pass by. Enjoy the sites. Transfer, dinner and overnight in Budapest.
March 9
- Full day excursion of Budapest.
This city is situated on the river Danube (as is Vienna). Whereas the Buda side is hilly with its impressive Fishermans bastion and Mathias Church, the other side of the city called Pest, is flat. Here you find the Hero Square, which is of course very historic, beautiful parks, wide boulevards that are lined with charming buildings. Budapest is often referred to as being " The Paris of the East". There will be time for shopping as well as a possible concert venue. Dinner & overnight in Budapest
March 10
- Transfer by coach to Vienna, The drive from Budapest to the capital of Austria will take approx. 4 hours.
There will be time for relaxation and lunch before your departure for the Vienna Woods where you will have dinner tonight.
The Vienna Woods are just charming. They surround Vienna in a semi-circle. You will go to the Southern part f the Woods. Here there are quaint villages and historic centers.
Composers such as Beethoven Schubert, Strauss and Hayden, all loved the Woods. Beethoven wrote one of his last " testaments here". Dinner will be in a typical Viennese tavern where the local food consists of Schnitzel or Chicken, salad and potato salad. The Apple strudel (apple cake), which finishes the meal, is something to look forward to. Enjoy! Dinner and overnight in Vienna.
March 11
- Vienna is the imperial capital of Austria. Its turbulent yet wealthy past can be seen all over the city. This was the home of the mighty Hapsburg family who ruled over many countries in Europe for over 7 hundred years. The opera building, the Hofburg, the Ring street and not to forget the St. Stephens Cathedral will all be seen during your sightseeing tour of this city which breathes music wherever you go You will enjoy an in-depth visit to the city and the Schonbrunn Palace. There will be time for some independent sightseeing as well as a concert venue this afternoon. . Dinner and overnight stay.
March 12
- Morning departure for Melk Abbey with a concert in the famous Stift (church).
Melk is located on the Danube River in a most charming setting. Melk is the Cradle of Lower Austria. The princely family of Babenberg, who were natives of Bavaria, established their rule on the site of a Roman stronghold at Melk, fixing their seat there at the end of the 10th century. Recalling the fate of the Nibelungen, Melk, is said to be the Medelike of the famous story that has been immortalized by Wagner.
Return to Vienna at lunchtime and enjoy the afternoon for some independent sightseeing. There is a lot to do and see in the Imperial capital and your Tour Manager will be able to assist you.

- Early morning departure for Vienna airport for your return journey back home to New York.
